My defining trait as a professional is a user-centric yet pragmatic approach to product development — I believe in user-centricity as a way of driving business outcomes.
I enjoy working at a strategic level, helping senior management translate business outcomes into product outcomes. I like to represent the user as a stakeholder, whilst always keeping in mind that a business needs to be sustainable in order to serve its users.
With defined product outcomes, I like to empower and work with autonomous, cross-functional teams.
I value defining the right problem before finding the right solution, defining success upfront, experimentation, iteration, moving fast without breaking things and data-driven decision-making.
Currently Director of Product Design at Digital Science. Previously Head of User Experience at Overleaf. More career details on my CV.
